In addition to facility management, Superior Storage Group offers extensive consultations in the areas of new site development, construction, facility acquisition, sales, and project funding. As market conditions change and entitlement processing for new development becomes increasingly difficult, more and more owners and investors have turned to Superior Storage Group to procure and enhance their investment opportunities.

Meet the Team

MIKE HARRIS

PRESIDENT

Mike began his real estate career as a broker with a global commercial firm, focusing on industrial, IOS, and storage assets. Over the years, he has advised Fortune 100 companies, institutional investors, and regional operators alike. His work spans individual and portfolio acquisitions, management strategies, entitlement guidance, implementing operations and strategy and—always rooted in a client-first, results-driven approach.

To maintain balance, Mike enjoys outdoor activities around home in Northern California, including mountain biking, riding motorcycles, fishing, camping, backpacking, and building and repairing things. Most importantly, he values spending time with his family.

Dave Kindelt

CEO

Dave Kindelt’s real estate career has included a wide variety of experience, including mortgage banking, property management, brokerage of commercial real estate, and entitlement processing of self storage developments. Prior to his formation of Superior Self Storage, Inc., a self storage management, development, and construction company, Mr. Kindelt worked with a well-respected self storage brokerage firm. While there, Mr. Kindelt developed an excellent reputation in the self storage industry.

Mr. Kindelt was also formally the exclusive Northern California representative of a group known as the Argus Self Storage Network and has been interviewed for articles published in the national Inside Self Storage trade journal. With over 150 Million in completed sales and acquisitions, Mr. Kindelt has successfully worked with virtually every type of buyer and seller of self storage properties, including individuals, companies, REITS and lenders with foreclosed self storage properties. In recent years, Mr. Kindelt has committed his focus on self storage management and development, and has successfully completed development of over 750,000 square feet of self storage projects within Northern California. Superior Self Storage, Inc. has recently received national recognition as the 68th top operator in the nation.

Jaime Garcia

Accounting & Human Resources

Jaime joined Superior team in 2001 as the Corporate Office manager. Her many duties range from property management, accounting, payroll, human resources, auction services, facility start-up, marketing management, and has overseen storage portfolios in California, Las Vegas, Utah and Hawaii. Jaime brings 20+ years of knowledge and experience in the fields of management, human resources, and marking to the team. Prior to joining SSA, she worked for nearly a decade at the largest franchise office of Round Table Pizza There she trained management teams on customer service and new products before she was promoted to the marketing Manager for 42 facilities. It was during this time that Jaime was recognized by Franklin Covey and chosen to be featured in their annual catalog. Being a valued asset to the management team, a former VP asked Jaime to join him at the firm of Prima Publishing, a division of Random House, to work in their Human Resources department. For the net 4 year she managed the 70,000 square foot building and the needs of 3300 employees, in addition to two off-site sub-leased buildings. In addition to her Real Estate License, Jaime also is a certified Paralegal, bringing an insightful legal eye to all aspects of her duties. Those who have worked with Jaime always comment on her smile, positive attitude, tenacity and professionalism. Jaime’s leadership style and wide-range of skills bring a great deal of context, guidance, professionalism and confidence to the SSA team.
